Does anyone out there have a vinyl rip of Deep Purple's Machine Head album? It's the one with Smoke on the Water. I've been looking everywhere. From what I've heard, it sounds way better than the CD and the mixing is different.

No such luck. Sadly, he does not have a vinyl rip copy of Machine Head.

More weed has been smoked listening to Machine Head than even a few of the Pink Floyd albums. lol. Great album, and, if I say so myself, great keyboard work on there. Their live version of that album was really awesome, at least I really liked it.

Actually, Deep Purple In Rock is my favorite one because it's their heaviest. Absolutely amazing for 1970, even more so than Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin I dare say.

I thought that Sabbath and Led Zepelin were good for a workout, whereas Pink Floyd is a more relaxing, drinking music.
